We offer training at your place on your machine in the use of lathes and milling machines.

Machine Shop Equipment

M&G Industrial is experienced and has the equipment for moving and relocating machinery within your workshop or across town.

With large equipment we prefer to pick them up from suppliers with our truck to safely deliver them to your workshop.

Training Room For Beginners

We provides the opportunity for inexperienced people to learn basic engineering such as simple machining and milling.

At M&G we offer demonstrations, lessons and advice at your pace from novice to competent user.

Parting

Here we show something you should never try at home. This is a piece of square section steel in a 3-jaw chuck. The lathe is set at a rapid 1,200 rpm and you can see the results. Don’t try this, but it does give you an impression of the skill of the operator.

Setting up to thread

Here is one of our qualified machinists setting up a lathe for threading.

Delivery (and Pre-delivery Service)

M&G Engineering understand machinery and the need to have it arrive on site or at your home on perfect working order. M&G have their own tilt-tray truck, winch and forklift and so can pick up your new machine from the factory or warehouse and deliver it to your site. Normally, after picking it up, we take the machine back to Canberra where we break it down. Check it and run, before delivering to you.

The end result is client satisfaction – a perfectly working machine and full time support thereafter.
